Who can resist a tasty Chicken Burger. Chicken burgers topped with lettuce and mayonnaise are awesome for lunch or dinner. You can buy frozen chicken patties from most grocery stores and generally only take around 11 minutes to cook in the air fryer. If you want to try something different, try it with sweet chilli sauce and tomatoes.

- 1 Chicken Patty
- 1 Hamburger Bun
- 3 Lettuce Leaves optional
- 2 Slices Tomato optional
- 2 Tbsp Mayonnaise optional
Instructions
Preparation
- Preheat the air fryer to 180 ° C or 360 ° F. This is usually around 3 minutes.
Cooking
- Place the frozen chicken patties into the air fryer basket.
- While the chicken patties are cooking, prepare the lettuce and tomato.
- Once cooked, remove the patties from the air fryer and build the burger.

Hello, if I'm cooking more than two frozen patties do I allow more time to cook? I just purchased the ninja air fryer 1500 watt. Thank you!

The more patties you cook the cooking time may increase slightly but it's more than likely negligible by how much. The main thing to remember is to not overlap the food if possible otherwise you will have to shake or move the food around and might affect the cooking time a little more. Lastly don't be afraid to open the air fryer while cooking and check up on it as everyone will have slightly different results depending on the air fryer, food etc.
Is this the same whether they're pre-cooked frozen patties or raw? I have pre-cooked ones I want to put in the air fryer.
Just got my air fryer today trying the frozen chicken patties they look amazing making only 2 for us anxious to try. I did peek so looking and opening it resets for the minutes left
Hi Margo, I'm not sure what Air Fryer you got, but as a general rule, there's not usually a problem opening it while cooking and taking a peek. I have a Philips XL and I do it all the time. In fact, that's the best way of doing it so you know when the food is cooked. Sometimes you have to deviate from specific cooking times depending on the food, and air fryer used.
